Esse Awards in 2019
With the year fast drawing to a close, you might have missed some of the highlights. Here is a summary of all the awards Esse was honoured with in 2019.
Beauty Industry Awards, United Kingdom and USA
The Beauty Industry awards highlighted some of the most cutting-edge and advanced innovations in the formulation arena, as well as giving a nod to achievements made by brands, especially those targeting the fast-evolving indie beauty arena.
2019’s winners were announced in Paris on April 3rd,where Esse was announced as Best Indie Beauty Brand – a wonderful honour, given that the awards are focused on the indie sector.
Organic Beauty Awards, Sweden
Arranged by NOC Sweden, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the growth and use of natural organic cosmetics in Sweden, the Organic Beauty Awards focus on promoting the benefits of natural and organic cosmetics for health and sustainability.
Sweden holds a special place for us as Esse has gained much recognition through the dedication of our Sweden team. It is for this reason that we were very excited to hear that in 2019, Esse won top honours in three categories.
- Innovation of the year with Protect Oil
- Best Face Serum with Ageless Serum
- Best Night Cream with Restorative Moisturiser
Attracta Beauty Awards, United Kingdom
Founded in 2014 by Courtney Attracta Courtney, the Attracta Awards are the only beauty awards to be conducted by an internationally respected Makeup Artist. With quality and integrity as a focus, the awards aim to share professional insider knowledge on makeup and skincare.
Esse’s Probiotic Serum was awarded the Best Day Serum in the Natural, Luxury category.
Skincare Professional Awards (SPA), Sweden
Announced as a winner at this year’s Hud en Kosmetikk show in Stockholm, Esse’s Hyaluronic Ampoule won the Professional product of the year category – a Hyaluronic Acid boost that is intensely hydrating. It forms part of the professional range available through salon and spa treatments.
As Sweden’s top professional beauty show, and up against world-class competition, top place in the SPA awards is a much-coveted accolade.
Organics, Clean Awards, Spain
To wrap up the awards season of 2019, Esse was recognised in a number of categories in Spain’s Organics, Clean Awards 2020 – representing a great start to the coming year.
In the Brand Awards category, Esse was awarded winning place in three categories:

- Packaging Design Award
- Wellness Brand Award
In the Best Products categories, Esse received top place in five categories:
- Best Cleansing Gel – Gel Cleanser
- Best Sensitive Skin Product – Nourish Moisturiser
